Sarah + Ben | An Omaha Wedding at One Thousand Dodge

Some weddings are a party from the first hour. Sarah and Ben's was one of those.

The two of them lived in Austin, but Omaha is Sarah's hometown, so that's where they brought everyone to celebrate. The day set its tone early: Bud Lights in hand, music on, and people dancing before anyone was even dressed for the ceremony.

A First Unitarian Church Ceremony

Sarah and Ben exchanged vows at the First Unitarian Church of Omaha, a beautiful old church that fit the day perfectly, classic and warm, with all their favorite people in the pews.

After the ceremony, everyone piled into a giant limo and headed downtown. The ride over turned into its own event, with dancing in the moving limo and stops along the way for photos around downtown Omaha.

A Packed Dance Floor at One Thousand Dodge

The reception was at One Thousand Dodge, right in the heart of downtown Omaha, and it never slowed down. The Drywater band flew in from Houston to play the night, and Sarah's brother, DJ Cannonball Adderley, kept the party going too. The dance floor stayed packed from the first song to the last, which is really the best review a reception can get.

Austin roots, a Nebraska hometown, and a room full of people who came ready to celebrate. Sarah and Ben's wedding was joyful in the way that can't be staged, start to finish.
