Vail is easily one of the hottest destinations in Colorado for several reasons. With some of the finest resorts, it also hosts plenty of activities to keep everyone in the family busy. Of course, it is also known to have some of the best mountains for skiing in the country. At only an hour and forty minutes from Denver (on a good day) it makes it an easy trek from the Denver airport.

  • Lionshead Village - There’s something special about ski villages, they always remind me of European town squares, surrounded by restaurants, cute shops, and of course ice skating in the winter. During the summer you can find several events taking place.
